The Kitchen Floor Mystery

Elena and Byron were overjoyed when they finally bought the house of their dreams. It was an old mansion with a lot of character and charm. They decided to restore it to its former glory and make it their home. 

They started with the kitchen, which was in a terrible state. They removed the old tiles and wooden planks from the floor and uncovered a hidden well. 

Curious, they threw a stone into it and waited for the splash. But they heard nothing. The well was deeper than they thought. They called their friend Adnan, who was an avid climber and adventurer. He agreed to come over and explore the well with a rope and a flashlight. He lowered himself into the dark abyss and disappeared from their sight. Elena and Byron waited anxiously for his signal. 

But they heard nothing. They called his name and asked if he was okay. But they heard nothing. They started to panic and wondered what to do. Then, after a few minutes of silence, they heard a loud thud. They looked down and saw Adnan's severed hand on the edge of the well. Elena screamed and Byron gasped. Then they saw something else emerge from the well. It was a black shadow that took the shape of a human. But it was not human. It was the shadow of death. It reached out for them with its dark tendrils and dragged them into the well. They screamed and struggled, but it was too late. They were gone.

Nobody ever heard from Elena and Byron again. The police arrived a few days later after their neighbors reported them missing. They searched the house but found no trace of them or their friend Adnan. The kitchen floor was neatly tiled and there was no sign of a well. The house looked normal and peaceful. But it was not. It was a trap for the next unsuspecting victims.
