Bloodlust of the Mask

During his travels in the enchanting city of Venice, Mark stumbled upon an exquisite mask that piqued his interest. Its mysterious aura and intricate craftsmanship bewitched him, and he decided to buy it as a surprise gift for his sister, Helen. However, before presenting it to her, Mark couldn't help but admire the mask's beauty for a few more days. As he journeyed onwards, the mask was gradually forgotten, lying concealed within the depths of his backpack.

Upon his return to New York, Mark was eager to reunite with Helen. They decided to commemorate the occasion with a dinner at her favorite restaurant. As they chatted and reminisced about their time apart, Mark suddenly remembered the mask he had purchased in Venice. Excitedly, he dug into his backpack, extracted the mask, and proudly presented it to Helen as a token of his affection.

Helen was overjoyed with the unexpected and stunning gift. Without a moment's hesitation, she put it on. Almost instantly, she felt an unnerving sensation surge through her body. It was as though the mask had a life of its own and was attempting to dominate her will.

As Mark watched in confusion and concern, Helen's behavior began to change. Her once-cheerful demeanor became increasingly erratic, and she started speaking in a strange, guttural language that Mark couldn't understand.

Alarmed, Mark tried to remove the mask from Helen's face, but it was as though it had become fused to her skin. As Helen's behavior grew more and more erratic, Mark realized that he needed to seek help.

Helen ran away from the restaurant, becoming a bloodthirsty monster and killing people to fulfill her thirst for blood. Mark went to the library to search for information and found a book about a ritual. He learned that he needed to find a cross in an old church in Chicago and use it to remove the mask from Helen. After a journey searching for the cross, he finally found it and returned to New York.

In the dead of night, Mark found Helen, who was about to attack him. He managed to save her by performing the ritual with the cross, which removed the mask from her face. A man passing by took the mask, and nobody has seen it since.

Although some people still claim that a bloodthirsty monster roams the streets of New York at night, Mark is happy to have his sister back. They now cherish each other even more, knowing that they came close to losing each other forever.
