Thomas had always been a skilled hacker, but nothing could have prepared him for what he found when he broke into the top-secret government program. As he sifted through the files, he discovered that the program allowed people to upload their consciousness to the cloud, essentially allowing them to live forever in a virtual world. At first, Thomas was intrigued. The possibilities seemed endless. But as he explored the digital world, he began to realize that there may be no way back to reality.
